New Cable Billing for USC Departments
As of July 1, 2008, University Technology Services will begin billing Gamecock Cable subscribers on a monthly basis. Previously, services have been billed annually. The new monthly billing process applies to faculty, staff and departmental subscribers. It does not apply to student users of Gamecock Cable.

Move-In Weekend Teams Gear Up
A particularly important service provided by UTS is technical support during Move-In Weekend. Each year, teams of technicians from University Technology Services fan out across the Columbia campus to help students get connected to the campus network, and troubleshoot computer problems.

UTS Teaching and Technology Services Plans BEST Institute
The BEST Institute seminars will return to USC this Fall for faculty and teaching assistants. BEST, which stands for Blackboard and Educational Software Technologies, will be held the 18th, 19th, and 20th of August.
