  TRAINING: ONLINE TRAINING PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

Your Element K student ID and password allows you to take all courses in the online training program.  These materials are available to you, to use at your convenience, until June 30, fiscal year end. As part of our contract with Element K, University Technology Services must enforce the following guidelines for all participants:

  • Participants must register with a valid USC email address.
  • Participants must not share their student IDs or passwords with others. Your seat is for your use alone. Sharing the seat is a violation of our licensing agreement with Element K.
  • Seats are assigned to USC faculty and staff, at no charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited!
  • Unutilized seats are reassigned at the discretion of the Training Administrator. Those who have lost seats may re-register; however, there are no guarantees that one will be vacant due to the limited number.
  • If you decide that you no longer want to continue with our program, please contact the Administrator at lioadmin@gwm.sc.edu.  This will allow us to reassign the seat to another user.
  • Element K also offers courses in applications not currently supported by University Technology, including but not limited to: 1-2-3 Millennium Edition, ACT!, Notes, Approach, WordPro, Outlook, Quicken, Freelance and WordPerfect. University Technology Services will not have consultants available to answer questions about these software programs.
  • The University provides the Self-Study program at no charge to faculty and staff. Costs for Element-K's Instructor-Led classes are the responsibility of the individual.
